A practical starting point
Packaging information is often spread across spreadsheets, supplier emails, specifications and assumptions. EPR Calculator gives your business one place to record what you know, estimate what is missing and review the result product by product.
It is designed to help teams organise packaging data, identify gaps and prepare more confidently for internal review or EPR reporting processes.
Record product names, categories, references, quantities, dimensions and packaging layers in a consistent format.
Enter a known weight or use the closest available packaging reference when an exact figure is not yet available.
See material totals, packaging levels, assumptions, warnings and confidence before exporting the data.
Product by product
Start with the information already available inside your business. Each product can hold the details needed to understand how much packaging is associated with the quantity placed on the market.
Known data and estimates
A product may include a bottle, tray, pouch or carton, a box used to group products, and transit packaging such as pallets or protective wrap. EPR Calculator lets you record each layer separately.
The calculator makes assumptions visible so your team knows which information should be checked or improved later.
Reference library
Search and filter shared references, add your own examples and record average weights and dimensions for packaging formats used by your company.
Dashboard view
Review packaging by material, packaging level, product category, confidence and date added. Use the dashboard to identify the products and assumptions that deserve the most attention.
Confidence and assumptions
EPR Calculator does not hide uncertainty. Each estimate can show the matched reference, the method used, whether a known weight was supplied and any warning caused by missing information.
Strong information or a close, relevant match supports the result.
The estimate is useful, but one or more inputs may need confirmation.
Important information is missing or the available reference is not a close match.
Company workspace
The first person who creates a company becomes the administrator. They can generate an invite code, add colleagues and manage company access. Team members work from the same products, reference items and reports rather than maintaining separate spreadsheet versions.
Use this image to show the member list, invite code or company settings area without exposing real personal information.
Getting started
Choose Start a company and enter your name, company, email and password. When a workspace already exists, choose Join with a code and use the code supplied by the company administrator.
Open the confirmation email and verify the account before accessing the workspace. This keeps company access connected to a verified user.
Enter the product name, category, reference, quantity and dimensions, then add each applicable packaging layer.
Enter known packaging weights where available. For missing values, review the reference match, estimated weight and confidence before saving.
Check weight per unit, total packaging weight, material and packaging level breakdowns, confidence, assumptions and warnings.
Identify material trends, high weight products and confidence gaps. Export the CSV or print the report as a PDF for internal review and further analysis.
Reporting and export
Reports bring together the number of products assessed, weight by material, weight by packaging type, layer level assumptions, warnings, missing data notes and average confidence.
Results are estimates based on the information entered and the reference items available in the workspace. Review outputs against company records, supplier specifications and requirements that apply to your organisation before making a regulatory submission or commercial decision. EPR Calculator does not submit returns to a regulator on your behalf.
